Travels, Furry Friends and LOVE

I'm back in the North Country, wishing I could bundle y'all up and have you with me. Even if New York did disappoint in the snow department.

My travels were less engaging/romantic than Isaiah's, and involved fewer oversized sweet treats than Amy's, but I was told which lit professors to take (Jacobson, Mo/'Saiah!), went through security without making a fool of myself (for once), shared a pizza with our very own Lisa Mo, and met Tay Tay's lovely friend (whose name I cannot for-the-life-of-me remember--I should ask him about that) who talked about the English department some more. The Canadian jet was WONDERFUL, clearly--did I mention it was from Canada? My parents and my grandma met me at the airport. (Have I mentioned that Gran is also from Canada? Yes?)

Anyway, now I'm sitting in front of my wood stove with a cat on my right, a dog on my left, and a Christmas tree glowing softly behind me. Not to mention the fact that my mom decorated my room with Christmas cheer for me! Oh, and love? Don't worry, I will never forget all of you, but...I have fallen in love with my our Keurig. I HAVE BEEN DRINKING INSTA-TEA SINCE I WOKE UP. (<--That would be more impressive had I been out of bed before noon...) So, yeah. It's a beautiful new relationship.

I hope that you're all taking time to do absolutely nothing--you deserve it! (However, if you want something to do, why not listen to that podcast Andrew [Drew? Drewbear? This nickname thing still confuses me.] sent us ages ago? I finally finished it today. SO GOOD.) Love to all!

  5. So necessary. I LOVE IT. (Good one, Amy!) As I believe my mother loves that thingy more than she loves me, it may be a dangerous decision. I will consider it further. (I'm pretty attached.)
