Splendidly Uneventful

Hey beautiful friends!

My trip was (as the title suggests) splendidly uneventful. My shuttle was 4o minutes late which was fine. I got to say good-bye to some good friends again (Amy and then later Isaiah) and met three others on my shuttle. Similarly to Ave, I learned about what classes and professors to take. As Avery mentioned, we were airport buddies and met up with Taylor and his friend (Stephanie, Rebecca, or Emily come to mind....but I can't remember.)

My flight was short and sweet, but kinda embarrassing. I struggled hardcore with putting my carry-on in the overhead compartment. Thankfully some kind man helped me.

I had the window seat, and the two people next to me were chatting away. You can all guess how I spent my flight....I slept. It was wonderful. (sorry this isn't as descriptive as other plane/train rides we have read about...) Then I woke up to a perfect scene. I looked out of the window to see hills and one of Pittsburgh's rivers.

Now I am home! I spent quality time with Rex, played Mario Kart with Robert, and had a lovely dinner with my parents. Now I am off to Panera to catch up with my two friends both named Paul. It has been a very relaxing day, which is exactly what I needed. I hope you all get some days of rest!

I am praying for you all over this break, and I miss you dearly.

Love
Lisa

  1. Sleeping is never uneventful! Fly free in your dreams and unfettered from this world's planes, launch off into the unknown.
